most annoying people in every fandom are the people who are like sorry this is cringe 😅😓 sorry for participating in this fandom i know it is cringe. like maybe for you it is. idgaf. that's between you and your own shame complex
i forgot high schoolers existed. Hey you're not a bad person if you do this ^ but like level with me. It feels incredibly awkward getting fandom posts with lots of notes tagged "#sorry for putting [fandom] on your dash" trust me. you would feel a lot better if you weren't ashamed of yourself or your interests. even if you can't stop doing it mentally right away, its a step at all to not say it out loud.

Makes you all look at my new OC & her pet chao. Her name is Lucia and idk what to name her chao yet.
I don’t know anything about Sonic Universe LMAO, but the design just called to me and I think chao are cute.
If you wanna tell me Abt Sonic Lore feel free, especially if you have any ideas on how Lucia would fit in~
For a more detailed look at her personality and whatnot her profile is on my toyhouse, which is the same username as here.
you know there actually is a meaningful difference between 'men's' and 'women's' deodorant beyond the selection of scents. 'mens' plays better with pit hair and doesn't pill up in it and 'womens' tends to have a more powdery finish to help prevent chafing. so really the two genders are actually hairy and bald.
realizing this was such a paradigm shift for me and i have to wonder what other "uselessly" gendered products are like this, where they actually are different in a way that would be useful to consumers but some marketing department decided instead of just saying what the difference is, to prescribe which you need based on the most arbitrary metric, so nebulous that what it even means varies from person to person. as if they think you're too dumb to look at "anti-chafing powder formula" and "lightweight gel formula" and decide for yourself which one would work best.
HEHE I FINISHED THE DESIGNS!!!
Just gonna info dump here on my choices for every design and things I’ll probably thinker wth in the future:
I gave Leah a very simple but sort of pouffy dress, I really felt as if she would wear something that is movable/breathable. I also gave her a sort of loose ponytail to differ from her usual braid. I also thought she might keep her boots because she knows it’s in the grass.
I wanted to give Haley one of those really big obnoxious pouffy dresses. I also gave her lil side ponytails (though not obvious). I should’ve incorporated more flowers in her outfit though. T^T
For Emily there are a few things I would tweak although I really like her design overall (I struggled with her the most and this is also one of the first times I’ve ever drawn her). I love her hair and how I incorporated the red but in future drawings, I’ll experiment with adding embroidery to her dress (kinda like Mirabel).
For Penny, I wanted to give her two lil side buns with pink bows (Kinda like violet evergarden! Also the ribbons are in Marus colours!). I also thought it would be nice to give her a more modest outfit also making it look a little more hand-me-down. I also gave her lil eye bags.
For Maru, I wanted to give her lil shoes. I also incorporated yellow (Pennys colours!!). I also struggled with her outfit but ultimately I really like the sorta prom dress vibe she has.
I also modified my first design of Abigail’s look! At first I wanted to keep her hair up (in general when I draw her, it’s always with a high ponytail), but then I decided she would probably have a more casual hair down look. I also wanted to incorporate a somewhat harness into her look, to keep her fighter vibe.
I Hope you like it >:)
Go see the new Dungeons and Dragons movie. Just run. Don't finish reading this post.
That was SO REFRESHING. GOD.
Some minor spoilers ahead, but frankly nothing that would spoil your enjoyment of the plot:
A man and a woman who are friends and co-parents, who don't constantly belittle and snark at each other and who aren't falling in love? Mwah! Fucking finally. A genuine friendship where they BOTH respect each other! FUCKING WHEN IS THE LAST TIME
And the humor doesn't get in the way of the characters! It's funny, but in a funny-for-real way, not in a research-shows-1-joke-per-48-seconds-is-optimal way.
Like: the barbarian woman goes to visit her halfling ex. Oh boy, here we go, right? WRONG. They have a mature, respectful, heartfelt and open conversation about where their relationship went wrong, and wish each other well.
Afterwards, the barbarian walks out to the bard, who gives her a Look. Oh boy, THIS is it. This is where the dumb jokes happen. WRONG AGAIN. The bard sees that his friend is clearly hurting, and just starts singing Their Song until she joins in. Like. An actual friendship moment. No jokes. It's cheesy but in the way that actual people are cheesy.
It doesn't depend on you being some ultranerd for DnD, either: it's not like Marvel's obsession with pointing out that yes, Steve the Intern WAS forced at gunpoint to comb through the entire run of Waffle Ass Man from the 80s in order to find you a Reference. It's just place names and some tropes that all stand on their own while showing that yes, they are adapting DnD and they are earnest about it. (I've played like 3 times, I didn't know shit going in.)
Earnest is actually a great word. The whole movie feels so earnest.
Fucking finally, a fun adventure movie. I could watch like 20 of these. Just give me, in alternating years, one Benoit Blanc mystery and one DnD movie, and I'll be happy.
The DnD movie goes in the "Love Story to the Source Material" category
And it doesn't apologize for the fact that it's a fantasy movie.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: The people who made this movie saw The Mummy more than once, and took notes.
Quick. Gimme a pokemon!
Or reblog with a pokemon oc ref
